The great news is that The Silver Well has FINALLY been printed, and you can see a special “behind the scenes” video of the books arriving at my house for the first time.

The 1st sentence: The midnight sky was dense in darkness, pearl white mist reigned over the ascending starry night amercing all the land in a shroud of shadow.
Of course I’ve wrote alot more than that, as you know 🙂

It was great to see you the other day, especially after you had to miss the Waterstones event.
I really like your first line… an excellent opening! Thank you. You obviously enjoy your writing, and that comes through in this opening line, which has a poetical feel to it. I think you probably have two sentences there… try it out and see if you think it works better. The opening line is very important.
I intend to post another blog today, or soon, and there is another story which is almost ready to be added to KOGworld. Exciting!

Thanks, I’ve been drafting for two years now and all the time I’ve kept that same two sentences. My fault I put a comma accidently. Yes, it is what grips you best. 🙂
