If The Kingdom Of Gems is a 3 book series then how can the book you are going to write (The Glyifild Bell) also going to be in the trilogy? Thanks!
October 9, 2010 @ 7:56 amHi George,
The trilogy is complete now. The Glyifild Bell, as I plan it at the moment (sometimes things change!) will follow on and move in to a new adventure. It will be in the same fantasy world, of course. I hope that explains it for you.

April 26, 2011 @ 12:35 pmHi, thanks for the book and i think Neville’s so cool with his scarf. Also the drawings are great! where did you learn to draw?
July 15, 2011 @ 10:08 amHello Cassie,
Neville is cool with his magic scarf… have you tried solving his riddles?
I learnt to draw as I grew up, but mainly when I did a degree when I was 33 and worked hard to develop my drawing and oil painting.

July 31, 2011 @ 5:24 amHello
You visited my school (Havelock Juniors) and your books sound very interesting.
When my teacher chose 2 more questions, I didn’t get the chance to ask you something.
Were you always into telling stories and so creative?
I came to Waterstones, Kettering to buy some books and you signed them.
Goodbye:)
November 26, 2011 @ 6:10 pmHello Alana,
Thank you for coming to Waterstone’s to buy my KOG books.
To answer your question – yes, I have always been creative. When I was younger, I was so keen on playing tennis that all my creativity poured into that! I was, and am, the sort of tennis player who is always playing unusual shots… a ‘touch’ player who is creative on the court. But when I started painting at 33, and writing at 41, then my creativity was directed into those things. And it’s wonderful! My work as an author is a combination of creativity, skills and hard (but very enjoyable and fulfilling) work.
I hope you’re already enjoying the books. Let me know.
Best wishes,
Jasper

January 20, 2012 @ 11:40 amtime.please have a good look and please tell me how to get it published
lulu (my nick name)
Hi Lulu,
How to get your writings published, and Megan’s, is a difficult question for me. I did it all my publishing myself. I am much older – have more time and experience, and have spent years developing my writing etc. I feel that the main thing at your age is to keep writing stories and poems, long or short, so that you are developing your skills, aided by your expert teachers. Later on, you may become an author too. It takes work, practice and, most important of all, a love of writing and stories. I do it because I love it so much.
As for now, I think there maybe websites where you can publish stories and poems. maybe you could research it and let me know if you find anything. You can make your own mini books which is really fun.
I hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Jasper
January 22, 2012 @ 6:22 pmhellllllooooo jasper what is your email so i can send you a story
February 27, 2012 @ 2:48 pmHello james,
It’s impossible for me to read and comment on stories people send to me because it happens a lot… I wish I could! If I read them I would have no time for writing, visiting Waterstone’s etc. My career as an
author would grind to a halt. Having said that, I’ll try to have a quick look when I have time.
But, do keep writing. It’s a wonderful, creative thing to do!
